WELCOME

HEARTS is a Christian faith-based group which endeavors to walk with the Lord in all we do.  HEARTS was formed to support Virginia homeschooling families in both Loudoun and Fairfax counties.  The group is comprised of approximately 70 homeschooling families with roughly 100 homeschooled students in 8th-12th grades.

We invite you to explore our classes, teachers, sports, and graduation to see if our community is a good fit to support your homeschool.

(** NOTE: If you plan to join or renew your membership with HSLDA, please consider using the HEARTS discount code 299585 to receive a $20 discount which also helps HEARTS. )

Fall Sports For 2014

The HEARTS Homeschool Sports Program will be offering the following Fall Sports:

Boys and Girls Cross Country  (Middle School and High School)
Boys Varsity Soccer
Girls Varsity Volleyball

Practices will begin in late August or early September.  The teams meet in the Sterling, Ashburn, and Herndon areas for practices.  Games are in the Northern VA area.

We are also looking for any parents who would be interested in being assistant coaches on any of these teams.  Please contact the appropriate coach.

Eligibility:  Any homeschooled student, under the age of 19, is eligible to play on a HEARTS Homeschool sports team.  Different teams do have age requirements and you are not eligible if considered a full-time college student.  If you are not enrolled in HEARTS, there is a HEARTS sports only registration that allows you to participate fully in the any of our sports programs.

About the program:  The HEARTS sports program has had teams competing across Northern VA for the last decade.  Although they compete against various homeschool and private schools, we compete in the NVIAC against sports programs such as Fairfax Homeschool and Leesburg Christian School.  HEARTS has fielded volleyball, basketball and soccer teams for many years and has recently added cross country.  If you are a homeschool parent interested in helping coach or run existing sports teams or would like to start a new sports team, please contact, David Beckwith, HEARTS Athletic Director, david_beckwith@verizon.net .
